Written by JamieOne thing that I realise in my travels is why people want to use English. I always used to see the problems when I was teaching English in the way that English is so badly structured and never adheres to the rules. How do you teach someone when to use the infinitive and when to use a gerund? etc…. I kept feeling sorry for students that could not understand why we pronounce one series of letters in one way for one word and in another way for another word. A language like Thai is phonetic and the letters represent the sounds so that what is written is what is said. Thai students struggle with English because they have grown up with that concept and expect English to be the same. It is almost the same here in Azerbaijan.

Why learn on-line?
Written by JamieIf you are studying at a normal school, in a building, you need to get there, which can take a lot of time, the traffic may be bad and you may miss your class, you may already feel tired by the time you arrive and then after a long class you need to get home. That class can take up twice as much time as the length of the class. Some people live in areas where there are no schools nearby for them to go to. They do not have the option to study face to face with a teacher in the same room.
Private Tuition
Written by JamieMost studying is done without a teacher. The student will spend a lot of time on their own studying from a book or on-line lesson but for the student to know if they are working in the right direction, they need guidance and help. We will provide as much help as we can to enable the student to work on their own but if the student wants to do well they will need to spend some time with a teacher.
