When a student begins to learn English they are not ready to listen to an English person, they cannot understand the native speaker yet. It is better for a beginner to start with a local teacher, someone that can speak their own language. For beginners and elementary students we suggest that they study with a local teacher and when they are ready to progress they can start to study with a native speaker so that they can improve their pronunciation and understanding of the idiosyncratic nature of the English language.
If there is a flag for your local language at the top right of the page then you should contact your area administrator to arrange a teacher that speaks that language. If there is not a flag for you language then you should send an email, in English, to the Dean. We have teachers in most countries that can help and we can arrange for teachers in many other countries..
